Day 1: Friday-
Catania arrival
Dinner and overnight. Transfer from airport not
included but available on request

Day 2: Saturday-
Taormina - Etna- Taormina
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and excursion to Mt Etna (weather permitting) up to
1800 metres. Stop at Carteri Silvestri. Back to Taormina. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon time at leisure or enjoy an optional excursion (to
be paid locally) to visit in the village of Savoca the famous catacombs
of the Cappuccini convent and Bar Vitelli - used in the shooting of the
"Godfather" in 1971. Then a scenic drive to Forza D'Agrò.
Includes a walking tour through the peaceful streets, churches and
cathedrals. Return to Taormina. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day
3: Sunday- Taormina- Siracusa- Taormina
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and depart for Syracuse
to visit the archaeological area, including the Greek theatre,
the Dyonisios Ear, the Latomie of the Paradise. The
visit continues with the historical and baroque center situated on the
Ortigia island. Enjoy the beautiful atmosphere which covers this
small piece of land. Time at leisure for lunch. Return to Taormina.

Day 4: Monday Taormina- Piazza Armerina
– Agrigento- Palermo
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and departure for Palermo.
Enroute, we stop at Piazza
Armerina to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, a Roman
country villa of the 3rd century, famous for its precious mosaics and then, on to Agrigento. Lunch
on your own. Visit the Valley of the Temples, Unesco
world heritage site.
Continue to Palermo.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 5: Tuesday Palermo -
Monreale- (Erice)- Palermo
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. In the morning visit of the
town of Palermo that includes: the Palatine
Chapel, the Cathedral of Palermo. Continue to Monreale
to visit the Cathedral and its Cloister.
Lunch at your own.
In the afternoon, time at leisure to enjoy the afternoon in the
Sicilian capital or possibility to participate to an optional
excursion (to be paid locally) to the medieval village of Erice,
overviewing the city of Trapani. Erice will draw our attention thanks
to the tiny and stony medieval streets.

Day
6: Wednesday Palermo- Segesta - Marsala- Palermo
Buffet breakfast at your hotel
and then departure to Segesta to visit the Doric Temple
placed on a hill surrounded by beautiful landscapes. After the visit we will
continue to Trapani
to see the salt windmills and then, on to Marsala. Lunch
and wine tasting on your own. return to Palermo.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 7: Thursday
Palermo - Cefalù- Castelbuono- Palermo
Buffet breakfast at your hotel and then departure for Cefalù where we
will visit the famous Cathedral and Castelbuono, a typical
village on the Madonie mountains which will give us a slide of the
Sicilian inland’s way of life. Return to Palermo. Farewell dinner
and overnight at your hotel in Palermo.

Day 8: Friday Departure
Breakfast at the hotel and check out . End of the
tour . Transfer to the airport is not included but is available
on request.
